“ONE DAY ALL WE’LL HAVE LEFT IS STORIES”
A cynical & painfully forgetful old man sits in a nursing home, waiting for the cruel, ticking hands of time to take him away. Despite the nurses somewhat annoying optimism, the old man sits in a perpetual state of glum. However, today could be different. Today he has a visitor. A visitor from the news. An inquisitive journalist wants to write an article about him and his life: ‘The Man Who Believes He’s William Shakespeare’.
Our Little Life was first performed in November 2021 during a residency at the Black Box Studio in Slovenia to begin an alliance that hopes to bring more English-speaking theatre to Ljubljana.
