WORKSHOPS
Our company ethos is translated into our workshops, which we deliver to drama schools, universities, schools and workplaces across the UK & Europe. Here’s a list of some of our common workshops:
-
Using techniques crafted through years of experience from our own touring improv shows, as well as our individual training at Drama Centre & Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute in Moscow, we present an improvisation masterclass accessible for beginners or experienced improvisers.
-
Imagination is key for an actor’s performance, being able to project mental images onto the blank stage or black box that you’re performing on. Using our training from Moscow’s Boris Shukin School we will help you unlock the potential of your imagination and offer a framework to use on stage. For any ages.
-
Our theatre company has been devising shows since its foundation and we’ve picked up a multitude of techniques and skills that we are excited to share with anyone looking to bolster their devising arsenal.
-
We are happy to consult with inspiring companies and practitioners to share the experiences we’ve had. The highs, the lows, the do’s the don’ts of starting your own theatre company.
-
Having trained in Moscow, we have spent a long time getting to grips with Chekov’s texts and how best to interpret them. The Vakhtangov method is one of the ways we approach Checkov and Russian Theatre and is something we are keen to teach to fellow practitioners.
-
All theatre is relationships: an actors relationship to objects on stage, an actors relationship to the space and of course an actors relationship to their scene partner. Join us as we build through each of these relationships with a series of games/exercises based around our own experience and the Vakhtangov technique.
-
How can we stage a Shakespearean text for a modern audience? How can we find the nuance and fun in plays written over 4 centuries ago. Using Improvisation and text based exercises we hope to find new ways you can approach the bard himself.
Our workshops have already been a success at LAMDA, Italia Conti, Trestle Arts Base, University of East Anglia, Southbank University, Alexandra Palace, the English Theatre of Hamburg & the Black Box Studio in Slovenia.
PRIVATE & CORPORATE
We are also available for bespoke private or corporate workshops, which focus on a range of transferable skills to maximise your business’ communication and imaginative skills. Businesses that prioritise communication skills and improvisational ability are shown to thrive in our modern climate.
